SHM American Made M63 AKM

Snake Hound Machine original M63 AKM assembled in the USA with proprietary Snake Hound Machine receiver, US made hammer forged barrel. These rifles come with the SHM Combat Trigger installed and hand polished mirror smooth internal contact surfaces. Also comes with US made milled oversized trigger guard. All SHM Rifles average 1 MOA accuracy. A test target is provided with the rifle upon shipping.

Due to the poor quality of standard front sight posts, our standard M63 rifles will now come with combo gas/sight blocks as shown in the RLTW rifle.

New rifles now come with grade 8 bolts instead of trunion rivets. This makes the weakest part of the rifle the receiver, and we have the strongest receiver on the market. Full rivited builds are available upon request. Our recievers are made on quality US steel and uniformly heat treated in a digital annealing oven to 42rc. Our barrels are special cut to our specifications allowing us to deliver the best accuracy in any AK on the market.

Furniture is surplus wood, not the nicest cosmetically however functional and usable. Most of these guns are intended for custom builds so I use surplus wood so as to keep the cost down, most of it ends up getting tossed anyway. Finish is Parkerized. 

Our recievers are made on quality US steel and uniformly heat treated in a digital annealing oven to 46-48rc. Our barrels are special cut to our specifications allowing us to deliver the best accuracy in any AK on the market.

All rifles are built individually by hand. Orders will be processed in the order they are received. Expect a minimum of six to eight months for delivery, with all rifles delivered by the end of the year. Only 25 orders for each model will be available, and additional orders may be made available after the initial 25 have been completed.
